and it was fantastic! There was about 18 of us and the Bendigo Big 4 Holiday Park was fantastic. It isn't very old and the whole place was just spotless. Very comfy beds and good heating etc (which we needed LOL) and the Ascot Lodge was perfect for us. We will definitely do it again next year :-)
I did 6 layouts which is pretty good for me. I was a bit slowed down on the Saturday following a very spectacular fall which saw me land on my newly surgeried hands. Ouch...
It was fantastic to my fellow ScrapTherapy Design Team buddies Lisa Pate and Bec Miller as well as the lovely Mandy Dodd as well as ST forum girls Bon, Rache, Lisa and co. Lisa P was my roomie and it was so lovely to get to know her better. It is lovely when your expectations that someone is lovely is confirmed IRL and then some :-) we chatted non-stop as if we had known each other for ages. Can't wait until the ST retreat in Cairns next year so that I can see her again!
I will have to take pics of the layouts that I did so I can share. I was really happy with 5 out of 6 of them so that isn't too bad.
We were all very bad at getting our cameras out and the only pics I took were of us on the jumping pillow, it was so much fun and a real test for the pelvic floor muscles LOL.
I have the ScrapTherapy Monthly Journalling challenge this month and in keeping with our homemade theme I have done some simple paper piecing. I did make a bit of a booboo in the journalling which I will fix when I get a chance, one of those late night mistakes! I love the layout though and the photo is straight out of camera :-)
I'll be back to show my Bendigo layouts when I have a chance to take pics/
