I am so excited about this month's theme. It has so much scope and we have lots of tips and tricks for everyone to be able to make their own handmade lovelies. The challenges will be up later this week so I hope you can join us here ScrapTherapy
I love my sample layout for the Journalling challenge so keep an eye on the forum from Wednesday onwards for the challenges to be posted :-)
In other news, I am back at work and coping quite well in getting back into it after nearly 6 weeks off work. I am really happy with how the surgery has gone and it should be smooth sailing from now on. I scrapped a lyout over the weekend so I'm rapt to be back into it.
In the school holidays my Mum and one of my sisters came to Mildura with 4 kids in tow. Mum and Sue looked after me as well as the house so although we had an 6 bodies in the house it didn't mean extra work for me. We went to Perry Sandhills one day and I took this photo. This is straight out of camera, no editing at all - the sky was amazing for a Winters day!:
We also had a trip to Whyalla to see Russ's Mum and other family who live there. Russ' son Chris and his wife came with us and we had a great weekend. I had to laugh when Russ's Mum told Marnie that she will be taller than her Nanna next visit. Check the photo out LOL, it has already happened.
Russ and I went to a masquerade ball the other week. It was my once a year in a dress outing LOL. I already had a black and white mask but when I saw this one I just had to buy it - perfect with my dress :-0
I am off to Bendigo on Friday to meet up with some ScrapTherapy girls with a few Mildura ladies coming along too. I hope my hands hold up to a weekend of scrapping! Will hopefully have lots to share when I get back - or not LOL, I am known for chatting the whole time at these things :-)
