I am very excited to say that I have been chosen as a finalist in the Express Yourself competition :-) The finalists layouts will be on display at the Brisbane Scrapbook & Papercrafts Expo Brisbane Scrapbook & Papercrafts Expo where attendees will vote on their favourite (must be there to vote).
They have allowed us to add our layouts on our blogs as this year the criteria was to "scrap yourself" so most people would be recognised anyway and not anon like the finalists were last year - I was a finalist in last years comp too :-)
So here is my layout. I have actually had the journalling in my head/jotted down for ages now and this was the perfect chance to get it down.
So, if you are heading to the show, make sure you go and vote for your favourite :-). I have no illusions of winning at all because my layout is very simple but I like it and that is all that matters!
Oh and another reason for excitement - in 7 sleeps I will be flying to Cairns for the ScrapTherapy retreat. I can't wait! It will be so lovely to see lovely friends again like Lisa and Bon and to meet Helen finally. My friend Daniella from Mildura is going too so that is fab. It will also be great to meet ST boss Lee-Anne - after working with her for so long it has been a long time coming!
